Kerri Morgan
Kerri Morgan is an elite level athlete. Kerri participates in the sport of track and field in the 100, 200 and 800 meters and also participates in quad rugby. She has since won both national and world championships in the 100, 200 and 800 meters. She placed 5th in 100 and 200 meter events at the 2008 Paralympics and was a Bronze medalist in the 100 and 200 meters at the 2112 Paralympics. In July of 2009 Kerri became the first women to earn a spot on the United States National Quad Rugby Team. She participates 1-2 times per week as part of the Aqua Ability Program at ShowMe Aquatics and Fitness as part of her grueling 6 day per week training schedule. Outside of the water, her year round program consists of strength exercises utilizing free weights, medicine balls machines and plyometric exercises. When not training Kerri is on the faculty of Washington University and is part of the Occupational Therapy clinical research team. She is currently finishing her Doctorate in Movement Science at Washington University.
