Baylee Skelton - Occupational Therapist

Baylee 150x200 Baylee graduated from Lewis and Clark in 2019 from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program with an Associates of Applied Science degree. She served on the Illinois Occupational Therapy Association Board as a Student Co-liaison during her time in school. Baylee is NBCOT certified and holds a license in Illinois and Missouri. She is certified in CPR, First Aid and Life Guarding from the American Red Cross Association. Baylee began working for ShowMe Aquatics in 2020 shortly after graduating. She also has experience in Hospital and Skilled Nursing settings and has worked with individuals with developmental disabilities in various ways for many years. Baylee enjoys all types of exercise and loves being able to be creative and come up with different ways to provide therapy for her clients in a barrier-free environment.

Alex Stieren - Occupational Therapist

Alex 150x200 Alex graduated from Webster University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and went on to study Occupational Therapy at St. Louis College of Health Careers. She graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program in 2020 and became a board licensed COTA in April 2021. She is NBCOT certified as well as licensed to practice is Missouri. During her fieldwork practicum in the summer of 2020 Alex was placed with ShowMe Aquatics as a student and had the opportunity to work with each of the therapists and their respective clients. Alex joined the ShowMe team in July of 2021. Prior to ShowMe Aquatics, Alex worked with the Special School District of St. Louis as a Paraprofessional which ultimately inspired her to pursue Occupational Therapy. Alex grew up playing in creeks, paddling on rivers, and playing outside. She is Level I ACA certified to teach Stand-Up Paddleboarding and takes every opportunity to paddle when she travels. Alex believes that the water promotes more than quality therapy, but an opportunity to have fun, engage with others, and inspire confidence in one’s abilities. When clients look forward to therapy, the benefits have a tremendous effect on their quality of life.

Kim Bollinger – Occupational Therapy Assistant

Kim BollingerKim graduated from Missouri College in 1999 from the Occupational Therapy assistant program with an Associates of Applied Science degree. She is NBCOT certified as well holds a license in Missouri and Illinois. Kim is also certified in CPR, First Aid and Life guard from the American Red Cross. She started working with ShowMe Aquatics in October 2016. Prior to ShowMe she was employed at school for cognitive and physically disabled individuals 3-21 years old. At the school she was instrumental in starting of equine-assisted therapy program with Beverly Farms in Illinois. She was employed at the school for over 14 dedicated years and truly enjoyed impacting the students’ lives in a positive manner. She looks forward to sharing previous experiences with new clients and learning new approaches as well. The non-traditional therapy setting is great way to impact a child’s brain and increase their ability to learn new abilities. Kim truly believes having FUN is best way for kids to learn!

Jamie Gehrin - Occupational Therapist

jamie-2 Jamie graduated from Maryville University with a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy in 2008. She started working with ShowMe Aquatics & Fitness in November of 2013. Prior to joining the ShowMe team, she provided home health OT for a pediatric population serving a variety of diagnoses for ages birth to 21. She has also worked in several other areas serving the pediatric population including school settings and sensory camps. In addition to pediatric therapy, she has worked with adults in the home as well as in a hospital setting. She has experience working with children and adults with physical and developmental disorders and enjoys working with all ages. Jamie is very active and enjoys all types of exercise and recreation and feels privileged to have the opportunity to share her passion for exercise and occupational function with ShowMe clients. She holds current certifications in adult and infant CPR and First Aid.

Alicia Bunn - Recreational Therapist

Alicia Bunn Alicia graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism with an option in Therapeutic Recreation in May, 1999. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute Certified, Professional Lifeguard, and maintains current CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. She has previously worked at Western Missouri Mental Health Center, Marygrove, St. Louis Arc, Midwest Fitness and Speed Enhancement, The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis, and The St. Louis Wheelchair Athletic Association.

Steve Bunn - Aquatic Specialist

Steve Bunn Steve graduated from the Northern State University Aberdeen, SD with a Bachelor of Science Recreation Management with an option in Exercise Physiology in May, 1988. In addition to his degree Steve holds additional certifications as a Professional Lifeguard, and maintains current CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. Steve has previously worked for Southern Illinois Living Centers, The St. Louis Arc, The St. Louis Wheelchair Athletic Association, and as founder and owner of Midwest Fitness and Speed Enhancement and currently at ShowMe Aquatics and Fitness. In addition, Steve is also contracted by the USOC as a US Paralympic Coach.

Kimbra Talley - Client Services Associate

kimbra-2 Kimbra graduated from St. Charles Community College in 2012. Her degree is Associates of Applied Science for Occupational Therapy Assisting. Kimbra loves working with all ages, especially kids and working with those who have Autism. She has been a student for occupational therapy in various settings including: hospitals, schools, water therapy and nursing homes, but enjoyed working in the water the best.
